That building was moved to the present site in 1939 and is now our Hall. The foundation stone for a new church was laid by Rt. Reverend W.F. Mackenzie on 12th November, 1949 but services continued to be held in the Hall. The church was finally completed and opened on Saturday, 26th July, 1952 by the State Moderator Rt. Reverend M. The row of cypress pines in the car park date from 1939, and the Jacaranda in the south-west corner is the only survivor of eight planted in 1945. Various trees and rose bushes have been donated over the years in loving memory of late members. The present team of &#8220;green thumbs&#8221; is dedicated to presenting the garden at its best to the glory of God and the pleasure of all.
